Description
Introducing The Tubie ClipTM 2.0: The Tubie Grip ClipTM! We’ve taken the original Tubie ClipTM, a little device invented by us to hold tubes in place, by your side, and support their weight and given it a fresh new update & a whole new feature: gripping. The new Tubie Grip ClipsTM are fitted with a set of non-toxic silicone “gripper” strips on each side to better grasp tubing and provide extra support.*
Just like the original Tubie ClipsTM, when used with a feeding tube the Tubie Grip ClipsTM can help to prevent irritation at the stoma site due to the weight of the tube by supporting the tube and relieving excess downward pull. They can also be used to help secure and support IV tubing and keep it safely tucked away from accidental pulls. Tubie Grip ClipsTM can be clipped to a waistband, shirt, backpack, or anywhere else you need support or securement and will not damage clothing. All clips-whether metal or plastic-are fitted with plastic teeth to avoid textile damage.
These are made with a plastic or metal clip and either a plastic snap or hook and loop tape closure. Each Tubie Grip ClipTM has two sets of silicone grip strips. Total length is approximately 3 1/2 to 4 inches. They can hold a Mickey extension, AMT extension, or IV tubing with ease and extra room. Edges are sealed to prevent fraying. All plastic and metal clip options have plastic teeth to grip material without causing damage.
Clip is opened by pulling up on the release lever and then opening the mouth by pulling it open for plastic clips, or pulling up on the shaped top of a metal clip. Use under medical and adult supervision. May pose choking hazard to small children.
Feel free to ask questions via our contact form, via email (shop@ticklemetubies.com), or through social media on Facebook or Instagram.
*While the Tubie Grip ClipsTM do provide additional “gripping” action, just as with the original Tubie ClipTM they are designed with your tubie’s safety in mind and in the event of an accidental pull, tubing will pull through the Tubie Grip ClipTM first before pulling from the stoma site under most circumstances.
